What makes up the FitnessGram?
The FitnessGram tests include: Curl-ups(sit-ups), Push-ups, Trunk lift, Sit and reach, Shoulder Reach, Pacer Test, and Body Composition. The purpose of the test is to measure ones cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility and body composition. In addition to this, you can go to YouTube and search any of the test components to view examples of what we will be completing in class. My hope is that the FitnessGram will provide the students with a better understanding of his or her fitness levels. We will discuss the importance of staying fit and ways to improve in each category.
